ABColombia and Peace Brigades International (PBI) invite you to join them at their event at the first ever Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict: Sexual Violence: Costs of speaking out for journalists and human rights defenders. The discussion will look at:

  •  What factors have made women defenders and journalists so vulnerable to sexual violence attacks?
  •  What changes are needed for women defenders and journalists to be able to speak out without fear of being subjected to sexual violence?
  •  How can we ensure effective implementation of policies and laws that really offer protection to those who speak out to protect the rights of others?
